To ensure that you can rely upon the quality of products and services we make available, your credit union stands behind the following privacy policy:
We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:
- Information we receive from you on applications or other forms,
- Information about your transactions with us or others,
- Information we receive from consumer reporting agency.
We may disclose the following kinds of non-public personal information about you:
- Information we receive from you on applications or other forms, such as your name, address, social security number, assets, and income,
- Information about your transactions with us or others, such as your account balance, payment history, parties to transactions,
- Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency, such as your creditworthiness and credit history.
We may disclose the following information about our members and former members to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf:
- Information we receive from you on applications or other forms, such as your name, address, social security number, assets, and income,
- Information about your transactions with us, such as your account balance, payment history, parties to transactions,
- Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency, such as your creditworthiness and credit history.
We may also disclose nonpublic personal information about our members and former members to anyone as permitted by law.
The credit union will protect your personal information. The credit union will maintain strong security controls to ensure that member and former member information in our files and computers is protected. We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products and services to you. To ensure compliance with its Privacy Policy, the credit union offers its employees a privacy training program.
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information. Where appropriate, we will use security coding techniques to protect unauthorized access to personal records, ensure accuracy and integrity of communication and transactions, and protect member and former member confidentiality.
The credit union will only share information when absolutely necessary. We will only share information to administer the products and services we provide, when required to do so by the government, or when we partner with other businesses to offer a broader array of products and services.
The credit union will partner only with businesses that follow strict confidentiality requirements. The businesses we select will offer products designed to enhance our members’ economic well-being. Under no circumstances will we authorize these firms to charge your account without your express consent, and we will not sell or otherwise provide member and former member information to telemarketing firms.
The credit union will offer you a choice in how your information is used. Any member of the credit union may elect to keep their information from being shared with our business partners. If you prefer that we not disclose personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties, you may opt out of those disclosures, that is, you may direct us not to make those disclosures (other than disclosures permitted by law). If you opt out, you may not receive services that may be of value to you.
